India is currently locking horns with the West Indies in the final T20I match of the series at Eden Gardens. India has already secured the series by winning the first couple of matches. India has decided to give rest to four players ahead of 3rd match. Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Yuzvendra Chahal. All four were crucial for the 2nd T20I win for the team. India has the Sri Lanka series ahead and wants to rest their crucial cogs like Pant and Kohli.
Virat on the other hand will miss T20I matches of the Sri Lanka tour as well. BCCI has given him 10 days break from cricket to take a rest. On the other hand, the other three are just given a break for 3rd T20I match.

India has given a start to Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Kuldeep Yadav, and Avesh Khan. Avesh Khan getting his debut cap in T20Is. The young Avesh Khan is bought by Royal Challengers Banglore in IPL 2022 Auction.
