Virat Kohli and his troops have landed in South Africa to play a mouthwatering three-match Test series after finishing their extended home season at peak. Now, they are eyeing to register yet another series win, but things are not that rosy this time as they will be playing in South Africa’s Kingdom, which has never been broken by any Indian team. But this team seems to be ready for achieving new heights at every corner of the world.
Kohli had his first press conference in South Africa and he was very impressive with his selective words. Asked isn’t it turning out to be Kohli vs ABD, he quickly chirped in they are not overlooking on any individual.
Indian skipper stated “It’s not like only two guys are playing in this series. AB is a great friend of mine. I respect the way he plays the game and I have always respected him as a person as well. But, when we are playing against each other it’s not that we cross the line with each other, we are just not like that.”
De Villiers has just made his Test return after missing the format for two long years for several different reasons. However, he enjoyed his outing against Zimbabwe in the historic four-day Test match, which eventually ended in just five sessions. ABD was instrumental during his fifty with the bat apart from his 8 catches behind the stumps.
However, India needs to focus on everyone if they are eyeing to create history in the rainbow nation. The series will begin with Cape Town Test on January 5.
