Gujarat Titans (GT) seem to be making it a habit of churning out wins out of nowhere, especially in the last over of the game.  The trend of nail-biting finishes continued for Hardik Pandya’s side as Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan took the team over the line by smashing 25 runs off the final over of the chase bowled by Marco Jansen against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) while chasing a daunting target of 196 runs.

It was Shashank Singh who struck three sixes in the final over for in the first innings of SRH, which had helped his team to reach a winning score of 195/6 in their quota of 20 overs. However, during the chase, Rashid Khan said whatever you can do, I can do better, as the Afghani all-rounder struck the ball all around the park to inflict a five-wicket defeat on his former team.

With the win, Gujarat Titans have once against reached the top of the table as they have already reached the tally of 14 points. Now, they just need just a couple of more points to all but secure their place in the playoffs.
