Former New Zealand cricketer, Simon Doull, came up with a classic reply for a netizen, who attempted to troll him. On Friday (May 13), Doull posted a screenshot of an unpleasant message he received on Instagram on his Twitter. The social media user took a dig at the former bowler’s commentary skills, calling him the ‘worst commentator of all time.’
Doull, who’s currently serving in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 as a broadcaster, decided to hit back at the troll with a sarcastic response. The 52-year-old stated the fact that he’s getting regular assignments despite being ‘so bad’ at his work. He also slammed the Instagram user for putting the story through a fake account instead of a real one. The netizens were highly impressed with Doull’s classic response as the comment section got flooded with praises.

Cricket stars getting trolled is not a new thing and this issue has garnered the limelight in the past. Besides players, the coaches, board members, and Doull, several commentators have also faced heat on social media. While some refrain from reacting to these harsh criticisms, others don’t hold back.
