Virat Kohli failed to get going in most of the games in IPL 2022 and as a result of that, he only managed to score 341 runs in 16 matches, including a couple of half-centuries, which came against Gujarat Titans (GT). Amid his recent struggles, several former cricketers, including former India head coach Ravi Shastri, have said that Kohli should take a break from the sport.
Kohli has been rested for the upcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa, scheduled to be commencing on June 9.
