The veteran Australian opener David Warner will not be taking part in the upcoming three-match T20I series against India, scheduled to be commencing on September 20. Australia will travel to India before returning home to play the West Indies and England ahead of the T20 World Cup. David Warner, who has been named in the Australia squad for the marquee event later this year, will miss the India tour “as part of a managed period of preparation for a full summer schedule”.
