Indian opener Prithvi Shaw continues to sizzle for Northamptonshire, maintaining his scorching streak as he crafted yet another century, propelling his team to a triumphant six-wicket conquest against Durham in the Royal London One Day Cup. While his prior outing saw Shaw amass an astounding 244 runs off 153 deliveries, his performance against Durham didn’t quite scale those heights, though he still etched another century onto his record.
This time, Shaw notched 125 runs off 76 balls. Among his impressive tally were consecutive boundaries that cemented the victory for Northamptonshire, punctuating his innings with fifteen fours and seven maximums.
Shaw’s current run tally of 304 runs across three matches secures his position as the highest scorer in the tournament. Not far behind is seasoned Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara, who tallied 302 runs in four games.
