Australia clinched a stunning victory in a high-scoring T20I clash against the hosts New Zealand at Eden Park (Auckland). It was the 5^th T20I match of the ongoing tri-series, where Australia secured their unbeaten record in this tri-series by successfully chasing the highest T20I target.

After winning the toss, New Zealand decided to bat first. With the help of Martin Guptill’s superb century (105) and Colin Munro’s superb 76-runs knock, New Zealand managed to put a mammoth total of 243/6 (20 overs).

In reply, Australia also started with aggressively. With the help of both openers’ big knocks and the important support from the middle-order batsmen, Australia reached the target in 18.5 overs after losing 5 wickets.
