Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, had a storied international career spanning over two decades. Tendulkar retired from international cricket in 2013, after fulfilling his childhood dream of winning a World Cup with the Indian team in 2011.
On the occasion of Children’s Day, Tendulkar shared a nostalgic anecdote about his childhood days on the microblogging platform X. The former Indian captain revealed that he and his friends used to indulge in mischief as kids, such as flattening the tires of cars parked in Sahitya Sahwas. He also invited his followers to recall the naughtiest thing they did as children.

Meanwhile, Tendulkar is expected to be present at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday to support the Indian team in their semi-final clash against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The Indian cricket team was the first to qualify for the World Cup semi-finals and remained unbeaten in all of their nine matches to finish at the top of the points table.
