Ambati Rayudu, the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star, recently played host to a dinner party for his former teammates in Visakhapatnam. This gathering coincided with CSK’s league match against Delhi Capitals in Vizag, which also happens to be Rayudu’s birth state. It has become a tradition among teammates that when the team travels to a player’s hometown for a game, a customary feast is organized, and Rayudu, being the gracious host, obliged his teammates with this tradition.
Ambati Rayudu bid adieu to cricket after securing his sixth Indian Premier League title in 2023. Having previously represented the Mumbai Indians, Rayudu became an integral part of the CSK franchise. His crucial cameo in the IPL 2023 finals against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad is etched in the memories of CSK fans.
