Bangladesh gave a tough fight to India in all three matches and almost clinched the title as well. But, it was the heroic performance of the Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik who took the game away from the Tigers as he spoiled their celebration plans by hitting a six off the last ball. However, the tri-nation series have resulted in many positives for Bangladesh.

Talking about the series, Mushfiqur Rahim said, “To be honest, we have not become that good a side in T20s till now. There are some things which we can improve upon and our team management and the coaching staff is looking at those things. At least there was this confidence that we were doing well in ODI and Test formats the last few years and on our day we can beat anyone. I think in T20s we are slowly gaining that confidence as well.”
