With IPL 2025 just around the corner, preparations are in full swing, and an important meeting is set to take place ahead of the tournament. As per reports, the captains of all ten participating franchises have been summoned to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters on Thursday, March 20. Team managers from each franchise have also been invited to attend the crucial gathering.

According to sources, IPL and BCCI management sent formal email invitations to the franchises outlining the agenda for the briefing. The meeting, scheduled to begin at noon at the Cricket Centre in Mumbai, is expected to last about an hour.
The primary focus of the discussion will be to inform team representatives about new regulations and modifications introduced for IPL 2025. Following this, a sponsor-driven event will be hosted at the Taj Hotel, where promotional activities will take place.
