Reports suggest that CSK are preparing for one of the biggest trades in IPL history ahead of the 2026 season. Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson has emerged as the marquee target for Chennai, with a blockbuster deal being discussed that could see Jadeja moving to Jaipur. His profile, “royalnavghan,” is usually buzzing with glimpses of his training, personal life and heartfelt messages for CSK fans during the IPL. Its sudden disappearance naturally raised eyebrows.

Former India batter Mohammed Kaif weighed in on the situation and suggested that MS Dhoni will ultimately support whatever decision strengthens CSK’s title ambitions. According to Kaif, Dhoni has never let personal equations overshadow team goals.

“If Jadeja has to be sacrificed for the team’s good, Dhoni will do it. The goal is to make CSK champions again,” Kaif said, adding that Dhoni will back the move if he believes Samson is the better long-term option.
Interestingly, Jadeja began his IPL journey with Rajasthan Royals 16 years ago and was part of their historic title win in the league’s inaugural season.
