The IPL 2026 auction took place on Tuesday, December 16, in Abu Dhabi. 350 players were there in the auction as all ten franchises were involved in the bidding wars. Many big names like Cameron Green, Venkatesh Iyer, and Liam Livingstone were in the auction, and they also fetched a huge sum at the auction.
Meanwhile, three-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders will be there with the biggest purse of Rs 64.3 crore. However, 77 players were sold in the auction, with all 10 teams completing their 25-member quota as well.

Venkatesh Iyer: The veteran all-rounder goes to RCB for 7 crore.
Jacob Duffy: RCB bid for Duffy, who went to the defending champions for an INR 2 crore base price.
Satvik Deswal: Satvik Deswal went to RCB at INR 30 lakh.
Mangesh Yadav: While RCB and SRH both bid for him at 30 lakh, RCB bought him at INR 5.20 crore as well.
Jordan Cox: Cox was acquired by RCB at his base price of 75 lakh.
Vicky Ostwal: RCB bought him for INR 30 lakh, his base price.
Vihaan Malhotra: RCB bought him for INR 30 lakh.
Kanishk Chouhan: RCB got him for INR 30 lakh.
