Heading into the season, Sanju Samson is in red-hot form and is expected to play a key role at the top of the order. With the franchise undergoing a transition phase and focusing on youth, Samson’s presence adds both experience and stability.

The 29-year-old has long admired CSK and now has the opportunity to represent the iconic yellow jersey. Since the trade was confirmed, the “Yellow Army” has rallied behind him, welcoming him as one of their own even before he stepped onto the field.

Sanju Samson could also play a crucial role behind the stumps if needed, especially considering the workload management of veteran MS Dhoni. Speaking earlier about sharing the dressing room with Dhoni, Samson said, “I am really excited to be part of CSK… It will be a great opportunity for me to observe him from close quarters and learn from him.”
