Former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin got frustrated after the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) returned to losing ways after recently registering back-to-back wins in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. CSK slumped to a 10-run loss against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Saturday, April 18 as well.

“The way Chennai played today, my heart is not beating that much for them today. I am quite upset. We will have to discuss their team selection. SRH have never scored 200 runs against CSK. You cannot bring in someone just because he can bowl off-spin,” he further added.

Meanwhile, Matt Short ended with figures of 0-38 off three overs after giving away 25 runs while bowling his third over on the trot in the powerplay.
