The landmark moment came against RCB pacer Romario Shepherd in the 14th over. Shepherd bowled a full toss outside off stump at 132.7 kph, but Marsh reacted instantly. With excellent balance and quick hands, he opened the face of the bat and expertly guided the ball through the point region for a boundary to complete a memorable hundred.

What made the innings even more impressive was the challenging nature of the pitch. Ahead of the match, experts predicted assistance for both spinners and fast bowlers due to visible cracks, minimal grass coverage, and the black-soil surface at the Ekana Stadium.
