Young fast bowler Prince Yadav continued his impressive spell for Team India by claiming another crucial wicket in the third T20I against England at Trent Bridge, dismissing England captain Harry Brook after already removing Jos Buttler earlier in the innings. The breakthrough gave India firm control after skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Brook looked positive during his brief stay at the crease, scoring 16 runs from 12 deliveries. However, Prince Yadav outsmarted the England captain with a well-directed short ball in the ninth over.

Attempting an aggressive pull shot toward the longer boundary, Brook failed to time the ball cleanly. Abhishek Sharma, stationed at deep midwicket, initially fumbled the catch but reacted quickly to complete it on the second attempt, ending Brook’s innings.

Prince Yadav’s double strike came in his first appearance of the ongoing five-match T20I series. The right-arm pacer replaced leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi in India’s playing XI after the latter endured a difficult outing in Manchester. With England leading the series 1-0 following their four-wicket victory in the second T20I, India needed an early breakthrough to keep their hopes of winning the series alive, and Prince delivered exactly that.

Earlier in the innings, the youngster produced one of the standout deliveries of the match to dismiss the dangerous Jos Buttler. The England opener had raced to 36 off just 21 balls, smashing four boundaries and two sixes while looking in complete control during the powerplay.

Prince, however, changed the momentum with a sensational yorker clocked at around 86 mph. The full-length delivery crashed into Buttler’s leg stump before the batter could bring his bat down in time, sending the stumps flying and handing India a vital early wicket.

By the halfway stage of the innings, England were 99/2 after 10 overs, with Phil Salt anchoring the innings. Both wickets belonged to Prince Yadav, whose disciplined pace bowling and ability to strike at key moments underlined why he is emerging as one of India’s most exciting young fast-bowling prospects.
