Indian actress and model Samreen Kaur has once again fueled speculation about her relationship with Team India fast bowler Arshdeep Singh after sharing a new Instagram story featuring the left-arm pacer. The picture, which quickly caught the attention of fans on social media, showed the duo wearing matching pendants, further intensifying the dating rumours that have been circulating for several months.

The buzz around Arshdeep and Samreen first emerged in April this year when the actress was frequently spotted supporting Punjab Kings (PBKS) during the 2026 Indian Premier League. The rumours gained further momentum after the pair were seen walking hand in hand at Delhi Airport, prompting widespread discussion among cricket fans.

Samreen shared the latest picture on Saturday, July 25, during Arshdeep’s break from international cricket. The 26-year-old pacer has been rested for India’s ongoing three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe following a busy schedule that included tours of Ireland and England.

Arshdeep was India’s highest wicket-taker in the five-match T20I series against England despite the team’s 4-0 defeat. He claimed four wickets in four matches, although he conceded runs at an economy rate of 9.47. The left-arm seamer also featured in one ODI during the England tour but endured a difficult outing, returning figures of 0/72 from his 10 overs.

Meanwhile, former India captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth recently questioned Arshdeep’s suitability for the ODI format ahead of the 2027 World Cup. Speaking on Star Sports, Srikkanth argued that the pacer’s effectiveness largely depends on early swing with the new ball and felt he should not be among India’s frontline ODI options.

“Arshdeep Singh is not fit for the 50-over format. The ball doesn’t swing after two overs, and he’s effective only when there is movement. Even in England, he bowled excellent first overs in T20Is, but after that, the batters attacked him freely. So, I don’t think he should be considered for ODIs,” Kris Srikkanth said.

Arshdeep made his ODI debut against New Zealand in November 2022 and has since taken 30 wickets in 18 matches while maintaining an economy rate of 5.49. Despite the recent criticism, he remains an important part of India’s white-ball setup, particularly in the T20 format.
