Former India cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra has suggested a change in India’s playing XI for the third T20I against Zimbabwe. He added that Prabhsimran Singh should be given a chance, stating that one doesn’t know when he would be selected in the squad again. However, the third T20I between India and Zimbabwe will take place in Harare on
Sunday, July 26. India have already sealed the three-match series 2-0 in the first two games as well.

In a video shared on his YouTube channel, ‘Aakash Chopra,’ he said, “I am thinking of playing Prabh as well. What’s his mistake? You have selected Prabhsimran Singh, and we have no idea whatsoever when you would select him again. You have won the series. So play him in place of Abhishek, or else play him in place of Ishan. You can actually play him in place of Ishan. Don’t play him in place of Abhishek. He hasn’t scored runs. Two matches have gone badly for him. So play him the third as well. Make him score runs, and if a bowling option is required, make him do that job as well.”

“Give a break to Ishan. Prabhsimran Singh will easily do the keeping job as well. So you can use him like that as a player. This is an opportunity that can be given to Prabh,” Chopra shared again.

However, Aakash Chopra also added that he would not give a chance to Harsh Dubey at Ravi Bishnoi’s expense as well.
“I won’t make any other change, although one wishes to play Harsh. I would have asked for him to be played had Ravi Bishnoi had an excellent previous 12 months, but that hasn’t been the case. So I am not going to go down that route. There is no other change. If you have to challenge yourselves, win the toss and bat first. If you want to win the match easily, win the toss and bowl first. Do whatever seems right to you,” Aakash Chopra concluded.
