The 11th edition of the India Premier League (IPL) started about 10 days ago and there has been already a lot of drama happening in the early stage of the tournament. In the tournament opener itself, the fans witnessed some brilliant performance from both the teams, Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, the sixteenth match of the tournament will be played between the teams who have a winning momentum before going into the game, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). While KXIP stopped the winning run of CSK, SRH is the only undefeated team in the tournament so far. With Chris Gayle back in the Punjab team, the hosts are expected to stop the winning run of SRH as well. 1.Chris Gayle (KXIP)

Chris Gayle made his IPL 2018 debut for KXIP just a few days back and he commenced his season by registering a hard-hitting half-century, his 22nd of the IPL. He proved that why he is known as the Universe Boss in the world of cricket. Chris was sent in to open the batting with Lokesh Rahul. The first ball which he faced was hit for a four through the off-side off Harbhajan Singh.

Gayle’ knock came to an end when he scored 63 (33) with the help of seven fours and four sixes. If he gets going for KXIp in future, no one can stop them from lifting the trophy this year.
