India all-rounder Naman Dhir made an impressive comeback after conceding a boundary and a six to dismiss Shimron Hetmyer during the third T20I against the West Indies at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Sunday, October 11. The dismissal came on the fourth delivery of the seventh over, when Hetmyer first benefited from an inside edge that raced to the boundary before launching the next scoring opportunity over deep backward square leg for a maximum.

However, Naman Dhir responded with a flat delivery on a length. The West Indies left-hander attempted to whip the ball across the line but failed to make contact. The delivery deflected off his back pad and crashed into the stumps, bringing an end to his aggressive innings. Hetmyer scored 43 runs off 26 balls, including six fours and two sixes, leaving the visitors at 67/2 after seven overs.

Rovman Powell struggled to get going at No. 4 and departed for five off seven balls, giving Axar Patel his first wicket of the innings.
