Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who last featured in the Indian cricket team in 2012, has set the internet on fire with his singing talent during his commentary stint in the ongoing 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Recently, the left-handed fast bowler Pathan took to his official Instagram handle to share a video in which he can be seen singing a song ‘Sun Mere Humsafar’ from Bollywood movie of ‘Alia Bhatt ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Beside him, former Australian cricketer Brett Lee strummed his guitar.
Pathan captioned the video as “We played together for #kings11punjab now we working as a team in com box. did we manage to pull this on #kentcricketlive ? let’s wait n watch 😉 230 pm today @brettlee_58”.

Pathan is currently busy with commentary in the ongoing Indian Premier League season 2018. He failed to attract the bidders in the IPL players’ auction this year, has been inducted in the Hindi commentary team by the Star Sports, who is the official broadcaster of IPL, alongside Jatin Sapru, former Indian speedster RP Singh and Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha and lots more.

Irfan made his Test debut for India in 2003 while his ODI debut was in 2004. In 29 Test matches, he grabbed 100 scalps which also includes a hat-trick against Pakistan. His best bowling figures in Test innings are 7/59. In the 50 overs game, Pathan has 173 wickets under his belt with 5/27 as his best bowling figures. He last played in the IPL for Gujarat Lions (GL) in 2017.
