Team India is currently locking horns with the Windies for the first ODI of the ongoing five-match series in Guwahati. After winning the toss, the Indian skipper decided to bowl first and they have also handed a debut cap to the young Rishabh Pant. Even after very long the men in blue entered the field with three specialist fast bowlers in the XI with Khaleel Ahmed, Mohammed Shami, and Umesh Yadav’s inclusion, while Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja were the two spinners. Windies scored 322 runs in their quota of 50 overs.

After losing Shikhar Dhawan in the second over of the match, Kohli and Rohit Sharma didn’t look back as they took India to a total of 141/1 after the end of 21 overs. However, it was the 21st over in which the fans in Guwahati got to see the real Rohit who was playing quite slowly earlier in his innings. 

On the penultimate bowl of the 21st over bowled by Devendra Bishoo, Sharma came down the track only to launch the bowl over the long-on boundary for a humongous six. Bishoo tossed the bowl on middle, but when hitman decides to give it a go then more often than not the bowl takes the aerial route to go over the boundary.

The last bowl of the over was another nightmare for the bowler as he bowled a half-tracker outside off and Rohit sat back, waiting for a bowl like this and muscled a pull shot over midwicket for register back-to-back sixes.
