Team India is currently locking horns with the Windies for the first ODI of the ongoing five-match series in Guwahati. After winning the toss, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli decided to bowl first and they have also handed a debut cap to the young Rishabh Pant. Even after very long the men in blue entered the field with three specialist fast bowlers in the XI with Khaleel Ahmed, Mohammed Shami, and Umesh Yadav’s inclusion, while Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja were the two spinners. Windies scored 322 runs in their quota of 50 overs.

On the final bowl of the over, it was Rohit Sharma who punished the bowler. Thomas bowled a hip-high short bowl on the middle at 146ks and Rohit used the pace of the Jamaican to his advantage and smashed a six over the backward square leg boundary. It was a Rohit special.
