The young Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have already been landed in a huge controversy for their misogynistic comments on a popular TV show. However, adding insult to the injury, Mumbai Police has come up with a quirky tweet to subtly roast the cricketers. Once the show was aired and the fans got to hear what the star cricketers felt about women brought about an immediate outrage, as a result of that, BCCI has to recall the two cricketers in the middle of the Australian tour. They have been suspended till any further notice.
The tweet along with the contents in the picture read: “A ‘Gentleman’ is a Gentleman, always and everywhere, How to be a great player? On Field: Maximum Score; Off Field: Maximum Respect for Women.”

However, former wicket-keeper and Chief selector Kiran More reckons that Pandya has learned his lessons from the mistakes he committed on the show and will be a crucial cog for India the upcoming mary tournament, World Cup 2019.
More explained, “He is new to international cricket and I am sure he has learned his lessons [from this incident]. I am sure, he will be a changed person. We will have a heart-to-heart conversation once he is back. Hardik is a very nice guy and an honest person. He has reached this level purely on his talent and skills. His priority is cricket and that will never change till the time he is playing. He is an important cog in the Indian team and lends a lot of balance. I am hoping he will be allowed to play in the New Zealand series. The Indian team and the BCCI have invested a lot in nurturing Hardik. I am confident all those efforts will not go waste,”

During the show, Pandya, who plays for Mumbai Indians boasted about his multiple hookups with women and made other sexual remarks during a chat show broadcast last Sunday. He along with Rahul apologized for their conduct after the BCCI demanded an explanation but officials unanimously decided to go ahead with an inquiry.
