New Zealand’s premier fast bowler Trent Boult has once again wreaked havoc in the Indian dug-out as he scalped 3 wickets in his first 10 overs of the Wellington ODI. to breathe down the neck of the Indian batsmen. Boult cleaned-up former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni with a brilliant inswinger, who was returning back to the playing XI after missing the last two ODIs due to a sore hamstring.

Boult was successful in getting the ball into the right-hander to hit the top of off-stump. Dhoni was late in getting his bat down in time and he was left perplexed as he was also beaten by the pace as the bowler delivered the ball at a fierce pace of 143 km/h and it was too good for Dhoni. However, this was the first failure for Meanwhile, Dhoni has been able to return back to form in 2019.

The veteran batsman has scored 245 runs in 2019. He also scored three back to back half-centuries in the three-match ODI series against Australia. Thus, he was awarded the Man of the series as well.

Coming back to the game, the Indian team was struggling again in the ongoing fifth and final ODI against New Zealand. The visitors have lost four wickets for the score of 18 runs. Earlier, India’s stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma had won the toss and decided to bat first.

The tourists were bundled out for a meager score of 92 runs in the Hamilton ODI. Trent Boult was once again the destructor in chief as he scalped five wickets and bowled his 10 overs on the trot. India once again lost their openers early as Rohit was cleaned up by Matt Henry. Shikhar Dhawan tried to play the upper cut but found the third man on the bowling of Trent Boult. Shubman Gill could not get going as he once again made the mistake of hitting the ball in the air.
