Indian pacer Shardul Thakur didn’t have a great international debut in his first two ODIs by he reckons that having MS Dhoni as a mentor has helped him get ready for the hardships of international cricket.

During a press-conference, Shardul said, “I have learnt a lot from him during the IPL. He is the wicket-keeper of the team so he has seen a lot of bowlers bowling from the other end, and very closely, like what do they do in a particular situation. So, whenever I have felt like finding out things about a particular situation, I have gone to him. I have always done that. It’s really good of him that he has helped me.”

India would aim to increase the woes of Sri Lanka by playing ruthless cricket in the one-off T20 International on Wednesday. The game will provide Indian a chance to get back on the winning ways in the shortest format of the game as they will be playing a lot of T20 in upcoming future.

Hardik Pandya was rested for that final ODI on Sunday, and he must be expecting a comeback in the T20s. Jasprit Bumrah is also expected to be in playing XI for T20 along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Despite the fact that there are no clear hints about India’s playing XI, it seems that Virat would be looking to seal the game on Wednesday.
