The Australian team is scheduled to visit India for two T20Is and five ODIs scheduled to commence later this month as part of an important build-up to their World Cup title defense in England this year. On Friday, the Indian selection committee has announced the squads for the T20Is series and separate squads for the first two ODIs and the remaining three ODIs.
In the T20I series, the young leg-spinner Mayank Markande has received his maiden call-up, along with the comeback of Jasprit Bumrah and Umesh Yadav. In the batting department, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli will be making a comeback along with the KL Rahul, who was earlier suspended for his sexist comments on the chat show.
On the other hand, the Indian selectors have maintained the core team for the first two ODIs with the comeback of Jasprit Bumrah and Siddharth Kaul in the bowling department along with Rahul and Kohli in the batting department.
