The 2019 IPL which is the 12th edition of the tournament is scheduled to embark from 23rd of March this month where the opening match itself will be the biggest rivalry between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium, the home ground of the defending champions CSK.

Marcus Stoinis who had been swapped with Mandeep Singh in the transfer window post-2018 IPL season and is one of the prolific batsmen in the RCB squad list who can produce some effective innings both with the bat and ball.
Stoinis had played for Kings XI Punjab for the last 3 seasons where he was featured only in 19 matches scoring 262 runs at the strike rate of 125.96 and picked up 13 wickets.
A day before the IPL starts, Australian National team will give a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to play Pakistan 5 ODI’s which resumes from Match 22 and will end at March 31. Cricket Australia has named an unchanged squad from the one which has toured to India who are playing 5 match ODI series where the series is balanced with 2-2.

Stoinis is also included in the Squad and will be playing for his national team as the big-all rounder, which means he is will be missing the first 3 matches of RCB including the opening clash against Chennai Super Kings.
Colin De Grandhomme.
RCB will have to look for another option like Colin De Grandhomme, Mooen Ali who joined the franchise last season only and had produced some important innings to the team and added their value to the batting unit of RCB.

De Grandhomme played 9 matches for RCB in 2018 and was sent to bat at No 6 or 7 sometimes, he made 131 runs and took only 2 wickets. Whereas Mooen Ali was given only 5 matches to play by which he scored 77 runs with the important knock of 65 runs coming against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the must-win game.
It would be a very significant decision for team Management to know who will play as their main all-rounder.
