During the 2nd ODI of the 5-match series, the Australian Cricket Team was seen wearing the black armbands at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The reason behind the same is that they are paying homage to former fast bowler Bob Holland, who lost his battle to Brain Cancer at the age of 70.

Holland passed away just two days after he attended a tribute dinner in his honor in Newcastle. In his cricketing career, Holland played 11 Tests for Australia, taking 34 wickets, as well as playing 95 first-class matches representing the New South Wales.

Australians currently are locking horns with Team India in the 2nd ODI after losing the series opener at Chennai by 26 runs by DLS method in a rain-affected game.
