Though they have failed to qualify for the playoffs after winning only four games out of thirteen games. RCB started IPL 2019 with six consecutive losses due to dismal bowling performance. Though they bounced back well in the last seven games. That was not enough for them to qualify for the playoffs of 2019 IPL. Their last game against Rajasthan Royals was called off due to rain. That game ended their hope of qualifying also. Rajasthan Royals’ key player Shreyas Gopal bagged a hat-trick in a five overs game each side and restricted them within a chasable target. Though the points were divided between the teams, they have no option left to qualify.
