Rassie van der Dussen Reveals The Secret Of Tabraiz Shamsi’s ‘Shoe Celebration’

After the final T20I, the South African cricketer Rassie van der Dussen revealed the secret of the funny celebration of his fellow teammate Tabraiz Shamsi after taking Shikhar Dhawan’s wicket. Proteas defeated India in a one-sided game by 9 wickets with more than 3 overs to spare in Bengaluru.

There was a battle going on the ground in the 3rd T20I between Shamsi and Dhawan.

In the 5th over of the match, the southpaw was batting comfortably took the aerial route and went for two consecutive sixes against the bowler in his first over, but in the 2nd over of his quota, he took the revenge by dismissing the batsman, who was caught by Temba Bavuma. After taking the wicket, Shamsi celebrated in a unique way, in which he was found removing his boot and pretending to make a phone call with it.

After the match during the press conference, the South African batsman Rassie van der Dussen explained Shamsi’s celebration.  He said, “Yeah Shamsi always phones to Immy (Imran Tahir). Immy is obviously one of his heroes, and they work together a lot. So it was a nice moment for Shamsi to take a big wicket of Dhawan for us like Immy for us.”

South Africa will next play a three-match Test series against India and the 1st Test is going to kick off from 2nd October in Vishakapatnam.
