The record-breaking spinner recently played County Championship matches for the Worcestershire County Cricket Club in August during India’s limited-overs matches against the Sri Lanka series. He commenced his county career on a high by claiming a five-wicket haul to his name during a game against Gloucestershire. In the final match against Durham, he bowled a spell of 5-95 in the second innings as Worcestershire clinched the County Championship Division 2 title for the first time since 2003.
In the last few months, Yo-Yo endurance test has hyped up a lot in India’s cricketing circle as the veterans like Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina were dropped from the limited-overs squad owing to their failure in this very test.
‘Yo-Yo‘ endurance test is nothing but an advanced version of the ‘beep’ test that was used by teams of earlier generations. The entire procedure records the result with the help of a software.
