Australia’s limited-overs captain and opening batsman Aaron Finch revealed he had nightmares when India toured Australia in 2018. Finch said that he was scared of Indian pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah who were scalping his wicket without breaking any sweat.
Named as the new limited-overs captain, Finch also had to open the innings for the transitioning Australian team.
However, the Australian captain struggled against India across all three formats during the series, especially while trying to play Bhuvi’s inswinging deliveries.
in a recently released docu-series titled ‘The Test’ on Amazon, “I’d wake up in a cold sweat, he’s (Bhuvneshwar) got me out a lot with the ball moving back in,” Finch said.
The Meerut born Indian pacer had dismissed Aaron Finch wicket four times. Thrice in three ODIs and one T20I, in the six-match limited-overs series.
Aaron Finch also described his nightmares on facing Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah in white-ball cricket. Finch said that he would wake up at night just thinking about playing against Bumrah on the eve of the next ODI. “There were times that I’d wake up in the night thinking about getting out. Thinking I’m facing Bumrah again tomorrow, he’s getting me out for fun,” Finch said.

India enjoyed a very successful tour down under in the summer of 2018. The subcontinent team lifted the Border Gavaskar Trophy 3-1 in a 4 match test series. It was India’s first-ever Test series win on Australian soil.

The Mumbai Indian’s player ended the test series as the joint highest wicket-taker claiming 21 wickets.
