In the T20 World Cup history, India and Pakistan have locked horns with each other 5 times, and India has managed to pull off a win on each and every occasion. The most famous clash between the two team was during the 2007 T20 World Cup final, where India defeated their arch-rivals in a thrilling contest, winning the summit clash by a narrow margin of 5 runs.
The latest meeting between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup was in the year 2016, during the Super 10s stage of the tournament. And in that match, the Indian side beat Pakistan with 6 wickets to spare.

While India won the tournament in the year 2007, Pakistan emerged as the champions in the 2009 edition.
