Rajasthan Royals (RR) spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal gave a smart response to former Indian opener, Aakash Chopra on Twitter. The former Indian batter had taken to Twitter and written that a 100+ meter six should be counted as 8 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal replied on the post writing that three dot balls should result in a wicket. The leg-spinner is very active on social media platforms and has recently been involved in fun banter with his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals on social media.

Apart from that, former CSK and India star Suresh Raina reacted to this exchange by adding a laugh react in their replies.

Taking the conversation forward, Aakash Chopra came up with a prompt reply saying that a bowler should be allowed to bowl an extra over if he manages to pick a three-wicket haul in his spell. He tweeted, “Three wickets in a spell should allow the bowler to bowl an extra over. also, Imagine someone trying to hit you for a 100-metre six (because it’s an 8), good chance that he’ll lose shape…risk-reward”.

The 31-year-old was bought by RR in the IPL 2022 mega auction after his previous franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) released him. Surprisingly, the Red Army didn’t even bid for the leg-spinner in the auction. Talking about Chahal’s numbers in the IPL, he has played a total of 116 matches in which he has scalped 144 wickets at an average of 21.84. He bowls at an outstanding economy of 7.56.

The Royals have put on a dominant show in their previous matches. RR captain, Sanju Samson, Jos Butler, Shimron Hetmyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Chahal are in excellent form as they look to continue their winning momentum.
