The second led of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 has been resumed and all eight teams would be determined to shine in UAE. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of the teams to watch out for in the second leg as they enjoyed a gala time earlier in the competition. RCB has won five matches out of seven matches, RCB was standing at third in the team standings at the time of season suspension.
Meanwhile, RCB will be playing their first match of the second leg against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday (September 20). Coincidentally, the match will witness history as Virat Kohli will be playing his 200th game in IPL. While four more players have reached the feat so far, the RCB skipper will become the first player to represent one franchise in 200 IPL matches.

As Virat Kohli is gearing up for the milestone match, he received congratulatory wishes and messages started pouring from fellow RCB members. In a video shared on the franchise’s official Twitter handle, the likes of AB de Villiers and Mike Hesson can be seen praising Kohli and his contribution to RCB.
AB de Villiers said, “Congratulations for your 200th IPL game for RCB. It’s a wonderful achievement and we are very privileged to be out there with you. We will celebrate you as you are an absolute legend for the team.”

Mike Hesson said, “Congratulations Virat Bhai, 200 games for the same franchise. It shows loyalty and commitment to RCB. You always play for the team, you are incredibly selfless.”
On the other hand, fast bowler Mohammed Siraj said, “Many youngsters like me follow you. Keep motivating them. The way you gym, the way is really inspiring. So, continue doing that. All the best.”

For the unversed, RCB needs just three wins in their seven league-stage matches to secure a place in the playoffs without much tension. Hence, a victory in the upcoming game would bring them one step to a spot in the final four.
