Afghanistan is currently taking on the ODI series against West Indies at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. The tour started comprised of a three-match ODI series and as many T20I series before they play a single Test. All the games will be played at the same ground.
According to News18, before the first ODI, an Afghanistan fan came in the limelight for failing to find the accommodation there because of his ‘height’. The fan, named, Sher Khan who has a height of 8 feet and 2 inches, travelled from Kabul, Afghanistan to watch the game at the venue, but he couldn’t find a place to stay. However, he reached the Naka Police Station and explained his problems and they helped him.

Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan, said, “We have the Afghani power, and this boundary will also be small for us. But we will have to play smart cricket and not focus much on big shots. Because on such big grounds, you have to play smart cricket.”
Kieron Pollard, West Indies captain, said, “We as a team, we have to plan how we are going to structure our fifty overs of batting and then our fifty overs of bowling. Each and every one of us is a good player and has own right to show what we have to offer.”
