The 15-member India squad have been announced on Monday for the upcoming ICC World Cup. While Dinesh Karthik has found a place in the team, Rishabh Pant has been left out. On the other hand, Ambati Rayudu also has not been included in the team. Since then, one after other comments and controversies are going on. Sometimes, it’s related to Rishabh Pant’s exclusion or sometimes, Rayudu’s sarcastic tweets. Rayudu, who is currently playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), has shared a tweet which created a lot of buzz as it was written, “Just Ordered a new set of 3d glasses to watch the world cup.”
Just Ordered a new set of 3d glasses to watch the world cup 😉😋..

However, everyone got to know what he exactly wanted to say by this. The “3D glasses” seemed to be the reply of MSK Prasad’s backing towards Vijay Shankar, who has been replaced Rayudu in the squad on the back of his brilliant “three-dimensional qualities” – batting, bowling and fielding.

Moreover, Pragyan Ojha replied to Rayudu’s tweet with another witty tweet, indicating his own struggle by claiming the bias against the cricketers of Hyderabad.
Curious case of some Hyderabadi cricketers… been in a similar situation… understand the wink✌🏼 https://t.co/zLtAQIMvYn

However, Ambati Rayudu’s exclusion made the cricket fraternity into two parts. Some are saying the decision taken by the board is right while some are saying Rayudu should be in the squad. Rayudu, on the other hand, was the first choice for the number 4 spot couple of months ago but the inconsistency with the bat made exclude from the squad.
Rayudu managed to score only one half-century in the ongoing Indian Premier League so far; where his highest score is 57 runs. He also got out for single-digit scores in four matches and also has a duck. He has played 55 One Day Internationals (ODIs) so far where he amassed 1,694 runs at an average of 47.05; which included three centuries and ten half-centuries.

Though, Ambati Rayudu and Rishabh Pant are on the standby list for the ICC World Cup 2019. Along with them, pacer Navdeep Saini also has been included in the list of three back-up players for the World Cup which will start in England and Wales from May 30.
