India batsman Ambati Rayudu was seen being involved in an argument with a senior citizen while on his way to the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday.
As per the reports, Rayudu was doing some rash driving and when the senior citizen pointed that out to the India cricketer, he lost his cool and started abusing him. The things went further away when the player stepped down from his car and held the old man by the collar and was involved in a fist fight with him.
The entire incident was caught on a camera by an eyewitness who posted the video on Twitter for the world to see.
In the video, Rayudu was clearly seen abusing and hitting the senior citizen, who is also giving it back to the India cricketer. The right-handed batsman was soothed by the youths present on the location and then only he went back into his car and buzzed off.
According to the reports in ‘The Mirror’ B Vijay, who released the video on the internet said, “It is unfair on part of a learned cricketer to stoop to the level of manhandling a senior citizen.”
Rayudu has 34 ODIs and 6 T20Is for India and he was also featured in the title-winning IPL squad Mumbai Indians in 2017.
