However, the off-spinner still can bowl in international cricket until the results of the testing come out.
The 33-year-old is currently touring with the Indian cricket team in Australia for the ongoing three-match ODI series. While the ODI series will be ended on 18 January, Rayudu may choose to undergo the testing after the conclusion of the ODI series.
Rayudu is also in the ODI squad of the upcoming five-match bilateral ODI series against the hosts New Zealand, starting on 23 January.
In his 46 ODIs and 6 T20Is, Rayudu has bowled only in nine ODI innings as he plays as a specialised batsman for the national side. Bowling a total of 20.1 overs in his international career, Rayudu has picked up three wickets.

India lost the Sydney ODI by 34 runs and they are now trailing the three-match ODI series by 1-0 with two ODIs to go. Chasing down the 289 runs target, India lost their first three wickets just for four runs on the board and Rayudu was also in that dismissal list who failed to open his account.
Despite, Rohit Sharma’s (133 runs) brilliant century knock and an impressive 137-run partnership for the fourth wicket between Rohit and MS Dhoni, India only managed to score 254/9 at the end of 50 overs.
