James Anderson is less likely to taste the same success at Perth, what he witnessed in Adelaide Test, says Aussie opener Cameron Bancroft on Monday. Anderson grabbed his maiden fifer in Test Down Under, but those conditions were similar to England’s.
Jimmy has been exceptional in Tests when it comes to overcast conditions as he played most of his cricket under the same circumstances. However, Bancroft believes English veteran won’t get much support at the WACA.
“When he’s able to swing the ball like that, he’s extremely hard work and he’s very, very damaging,” he told to reporters at Perth.
“No matter what’s going on, it’s bloody hard work when the ball is swinging like that. You can have the best game plan in the world but there can be a ball with your name on it,” he further added.
The third Test will be a key encounter in the outcome of final score line of this Ashes series. Australia has gained 2-0 lead after winning first two games by margin of 10 wickets and 120 runs respectively.
