West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell will be making his debut for the Melbourne Stars on Friday, December 10 in their match against Sydney Thunder at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in the 2021-22 season of the Big bash League (BBL). However, he has been asked to follow certain rules before he takes the field. To start with, the veteran can’t come in contact with his teammates.
Andre Russell has been asked to enter the MCG through an alternate entryway, go through an alternate lift, and set in changing areas. Even for the warm-ups, he’ll need to remain somewhere around two meters from the players and support staff. He is suggested not to give high fives while celebrating a dismissal and a different receiver will be set up for him during post-match interviews.
