Currently, the Indian cricket team is busy to play in Australia under Virat Kohli’s captaincy. After levelling the three-match T20I series by 1-1, the visiting side India is focusing to win their first ever Test series on the Australian soil. While the fourth and final Test of the series is running at Sydney Cricket Ground (Sydney), India is leading the series by 2-1. Also, India will have to play three-match ODI series in this tour between 12 and 18 January before leaving for their next New Zealand tour.

The Indian cricket team is currently at very close to win their historic first ever Test series on the Australian soil. India won the first Test of the series at Adelaide by 31 runs while the hosts levelled the series after winning the second Test by 146 runs at the new Perth stadium (Optus Stadium). India regained the lead of the series after winning the previous Test at Melbourne by 137 runs.

Talking about the ongoing Sydney Test, a draw will enough for the Indian side to win their first ever Test series on the Australian soil while Australia will have to win it to save the series.
