Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has done wonders on his Ranji Trophy debut. While making his debut for Goa, Arjun scored a brilliant century, Arjun completed his century in 179 balls. In the Ranji Trophy, Goa is locking horns with Rajasthan and this is the debut match of 23-year-old Arjun.
Arjun Tendulkar, who came to bat at number seven, batted brilliantly and kept the opposition team in check. The southpaw all-rounder completed his century in 178 balls, which included 12 fours and 2 sixes. He scored runs at a strike rate of around 56 and also played 131 dot balls in his innings. Arjun attacked almost every bowler in Rajasthan and scored a century.
Arjun Tendulkar also shared a record partnership of more than 200 runs with Suyash Prabhudesai in this innings. Both added 200 runs in 333 balls, in which Arjun’s contribution was more. It needs to be noted that Sachin Tendulkar also scored a brilliant century in his Ranji debut match and at that time became the youngest batsman to do such a feat.

In 1988, playing for Mumbai, Sachin Tendulkar scored a century in his debut match at the age of 15 years 231 days. This century of Sachin came against Gujarat. 23-year-old Arjun Tendulkar plays as an all-rounder, till now he has made headlines many times with his fast bowling. But this time he has made everyone his fan by creating a blast with the bat.
Arjun Tendulkar had also earlier participated in Ranji Trophy from the Mumbai side, but he did not get a chance to play. In such a situation, before this season, Arjun Tendulkar decided to shift to Goa, and he scored a century as soon as he made his debut here.

Arjun Tendulkar is also associated with Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Although he has not got a chance to debut for the last two years. Arjun was signed by Mumbai Indians for INR 20 lakh in the first season, then INR 30 lakh in the next season. Now that Arjun Tendulkar has scored a century in Ranji, it is expected that the wait for his debut in IPL will also end.
