Players like Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Andre Russell, Imran Tahir, Mitchell Santner, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rahman are among the IPL stars who will be in action in the CPL. The fans will continue enjoying the T20 cricket as IPL will be commencing in the UAE across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi from September 19 to November 10.

While international cricket resumed last month in England and some of the players of teams like India, have not been able to get net practice after the lockdown due to the pandemic.
Talking about the same during a show on Star Sports, Ashish Nehra said, “I would like to say, whichever player plays CPL, there is no guarantee that their performance will be replicated in the IPL, but they will definitely have an edge over the other players. If you reach UAE after playing for a month, it will definitely make a difference, be it Kieron Pollard or Imran Tahir or Rashid Khan.”
Nehra also showered praises of the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and South Africa leg-spinner Imran Tahir, who will be heading to the UAE after featuring in the CPL.

Explaining the same, Nehra said, “Even today when Imran Tahir takes a wicket, he celebrates like an 18-20 year old player. He is a dedicated player. When we talk about a certain age, when you get to play more matches and get more practice at that age, it is always better. It will be a really good thing for Imran Tahir to play the IPL after playing in the CPL.”
