The exciting four-match Test series between the hosts Australia and the visitors India just ended, which India won by the 2-1 margin. It was the historic Test series for the visiting side as it was their first Test series victory in Australia.
We saw some great performances in this entire one-month long Test series. Here we are making the best-combined playing XI of the Test series:
Mayank Agarwal (India)
Making his international debut in this tour, Indian opening batsman Mayank Agarwal impressed hugely. He made his Test debut during the third Test of the series at Melbourne and then he played the innings of 76, 42 and 77 runs.
Despite playing only three innings in this series, Agarwal finished the series as the eighth most run-scorer after scoring 195 runs with the average of 65.00.
Marcus Harris (Australia)
During the series opener at Adelaide, Marcus Harris made his international cricket debut. He has seemed very promising batsman as he finished the series as the leading run-scorer for Australia (fourth most run-scorer in overall). The Australian left-handed batsman scored 258 runs in this series with an average of 36.85. He played two half-century knocks including his best knock for Australia in this series – 79 at Sydney.
