The 15th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium on Monday, April 10. LSG batter Ayush Badoni was dismissed in an unfortunate manner as he ended up dislodging the bails in his follow-through in the 19th over the of the chase.

In the fourth ball of the 19th over of the second innings, Wayne Parnell bowled a fuller delivery onto the channel of the leg stumps. The right-handed batter shuffled across to execute the scoop shot. Although he succeeded in connecting the shot and the ball flew over the fine leg region for six, Ayush Badoni lost grip in the follow-through and ended up hitting the wicket as the bails came off.

Earlier in the game, LSG skipper, KL Rahul won the toss and decided to bowl first owing to the flatness on the pitch and chances of dew later in the innings. RCB openers, Faf and Virat Kohli managed to score 56 runs in the powerplay overs with the latter scoring most of the runs. After the dismissal of Kohli, Glenn Maxwell joined Faf du Plessis and decided to go hammer and tongs as they started smashing the LSG bowlers all over the park to help RCB reach a humongous total.
