The IPL 2025 clash between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium saw a breathtaking moment of fielding brilliance, as Ayush Badoni and Ravi Bishnoi combined for a spectacular relay catch to dismiss a dangerous Prabhsimran Singh. Prabhsimran, who had struggled in the previous match against Gujarat Titans, was in sensational form, tearing into the LSG bowlers.

By the tenth over, he had raced to 69 off just 33 balls, smashing nine fours and three sixes. Looking to continue his onslaught, he targeted Digvesh Rathi in the 11th over, attempting a powerful slog sweep off a length delivery.

The ball seemed destined for a six over mid-wicket, but Ayush Badoni had other plans. Positioned at the boundary, he leaped and grabbed the ball just inches from the ropes. Realizing he was losing balance, he showed great awareness by tossing it back into play before stepping over the boundary.

Just when it seemed like the ball would land safely, Ravi Bishnoi came sprinting in and dived full stretch to complete an extraordinary catch. The stunning teamwork sent the LSG camp into celebration mode and provided a crucial breakthrough.

As for the match, PBKS were always in control of the chased as they gunned down the total with more than 3 overs to spare with captain Shreyas Iyer anchoring the chase at 52* and Nehal Wadhera contributing 43*. They looked well on course to chase down LSG’s total of 171/7, which had been built on a late recovery after early wickets.
